Russell Brand Wants to Settle Down

RUSSELL Brand has a “deep craving” to settle down.
The British comic star insists his previous womanizing ways came out of his desire to find the perfect woman and says he couldn’t be happier with his current girlfriend, Katy Perry.
“There was a deep craving within me. I mistook it for lust. I thought I was promiscuous. It turns out I was thorough,” he said.
“I’m happy. It’s really nice and relaxing being in a relationship.”
The Forgetting Sarah Marshall star also admitted he wants to marry Katy, who he has been dating since September, and is even thinking of having children.
“I don’t know, get married, you say? That would be good, wouldn’t it? I want to have children – that would be good,” said Brand.
However, Russell, 34, won’t be moving to America to be with the 25-year-old star — because his beloved pet cat Morrissey wouldn’t like it.
“I would never do that because the cat lives here, my cat, and someone has got to feed him,” he said. “You can’t just send him the occasional postcard saying things are going well – I’ve got to look after him.
“He hissed at me yesterday. I tried to explain to him but he doesn’t understand concepts such as international travel and work. He certainly doesn’t understand the concept of a bikini.”
However, Russell may have found a solution to keep his pet happy.
“I am getting him a pet passport which means he can travel around as much as he likes,” he said. “Unfortunately, they don’t do photos. I was really looking forward to that.”
