LADY GaGa was forced to behave herself during her performance at last night’s Royal Variety Performance.

The singer — known for her outrageous onstage antics — reportedly had her hari kari routine and its fake blood nixed.

The Poker Face hitmaker — real name Stefani Germanotta — was issued with hurried instructions about meeting the Royal Family.

“I wanted to do the suicide scene I did at the MTV Awards but I was told it wouldn’t be appropriate,” GaGa said. “And not only has that been vetoed, but I have had to tone down my act generally.

“But all of that doesn’t matter because I’m a massive fan of the Queen — I was so excited and have even been practicing my curtsy.”

GaGa donned a red PVC cloak and wriggled on a piano as she performed the song Speechless at the Opera House in Blackpool.

“When I first came up with what I was doing, I said ‘Oh my f***ing God. It’s fabulous, I hope the Queen likes it’,” she said.
