Alexa Ray Joel: ‘I’m Feeling Better’

BILLY Joel‘s daughter, Alex Ray Joel, insists she is on the mend.
Alexa — Billy’s daughter with ex-wife Christie Brinkley — was rushed to hospital on Saturday.
The 23-year-old left St. Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village Sunday.
In a statement Monday, Alexa’s rep said she is “feeling much better.
“She is with her family and looking forward to getting back on track.”
“I want to thank everyone for their outpouring of love and support,” Alexa added.
Alexa will be staying with her father as she recuperates.
Although it has officially been claimed that Alexa took sleeping pills, sources claim she had taken the homeopathic antihistamine Traumeel.
In August, Alexa described herself on her MySpace page as “forgotten”.
She also revealed she hated dating and considered herself “terrible” at it.
Alexa — who split up from boyfriend Jimmy Riot twice last year — wrote, “I HATE the game-playing! Can’t stand it.”
