VANESSA Williams says it “would be fun” to have a musical episode of Ugly Betty at the end of its run.

The singer/actress — who plays magazine editor Wilhemina Slater in the hit US show  — denied rumors that the Ugly Betty boxset includes a musical episode, but admitted she’d like to make one.

“Sadly not,” she said. “We were originally going to do a musical episode in season two, which was going to mark Wilhemina’s return to Mode.

“It was going to be full of big musical numbers, but a lot of changes happened during the writers’ strike — and that was one of the things that went.”

“Who knows what’ll happen in the future? Perhaps there could be a musical at the end of the whole run? That would be fun.

“The great thing is, we all sing, dance and act — and we would all love to do it.”
