Uma Thurman Split Confirmed

Uma ThurmanUMA Thurman‘s representative has confirmed reports the actress has split from her fiance Arpad “Arki” Busson.

The spokesperson said the Kill Bill actress and the Swiss financier broke up “almost two months ago.”

“They remain friends,” a source added.

The couple started dating in the summer of 2007 and became engaged a year later, with Arpad presenting the actress with an eight-carat diamond engagement ring — which she is returning to him.

“She will probably give it back. She wants to return everything that is his,” the source said.

Prior to becoming engaged to Busson, Thurman dated Andre Balazs from 2004 to 2006.

Thurman has two children with Ethan Hawke, her husband from 1998-2004.

Busson is the father of Elle Macpherson’s two kids.

Uma recently admitted she still loves Hawke.

“I love the man still,” she said. “Hey, we have two kids together. That’s very special. I’ll always love him.”
