CARRIE Underwood insists she’d never write a song about her ex-beau Tony Romo.

The American Idol alum denied that Cowboy Casanova is about the Dallas Cowboys quarterback — because she refuses to “immortalize” someone who has done her wrong.

“No, I would never immortalize a guy that did me wrong,” the singer, 26, told Esquire magazine.

“I would never give him that much credit.”

Underwood dated Romo, 29, in 2007, but by October of that year, she seemed to have had enough.

“Point blank, he is about football. I don’t know if it’s that I’m not quite his type or whatever, but I don’t think he’s at the point in his life where he would be willing to sacrifice football,” she said at the time.

“He hated so much that people thought that he was paying more attention to me and that was causing him to not do well.”
