Adam Lambert Still Friends With Former Beau

Adam LambertADAM Lambert insists he’s still good friends with his ex-beau Drake LaBry.

The American Idol runner-up split from Drake — an interior designer — in November.

“I’m putting a lot of energy into my career right now,” Lambert said. “People run into differences. We’re still very good friends.”

Adam, 27, recently revealed that he suffered from an ugly duckling complex in his early twenties because he used to be overweight.

“I suffered from a little bit of an ugly duckling complex in my early twenties,” he said.

“When I was in high school I was 250 pounds and that creates some stuff…some body image stuff, some confidence issues and I got a lot of my confidence from the validation I got as a performer.”

    Good. I love Adam and since everyone and their dog wants to take a shot at him, it is nice to have his friends close by. Adam is amazing and has balls of steel! He has been so calm under fire and I really respect him even more than ever!!

    i am a 62 year old woman and i’ve seen a lot of things and all i have to say about adam lambert is his is a very special and talented individual and so he went a little overboard.so what!i think hes great and his sexual preferences are just that-his. keep on doing your thing and if there are people who don’t like you they can turn the channel. i am sure your parents are very proud oy you. i would be.

    I love Adam! He is who he is and makes no apologies. He’s beautiful inside and out.
    Will 1500 Americans freak the f*ck out if I say that I think that Adam is a very good role model for our youngsters? Well, I do believe he is someone little ones can look up to. He’s been through a lot undoubtedly, but he is one of the nicest guys around. He has never said a negative thing about anyone. He’s truly amazing!

    P.S. For anyone who takes the time to write anything negative about Adam, my only question is: Don’t you have anything better to do with your life?
