Alec Baldwin Addresses Retirement Rumors

ALEC Baldwin has addressed rumors he’s planning to retire from showbiz — revealing he’d like to try “something new”.
In a recent magazine interview, the star said he’d quit acting in 2012 — when his 30 Rock contract expires.
“I’m doing [new movie It's Complicated] and I’m going to do the TV show for a couple more years. It’s the best job I ever had and it’s so much fun,” Baldwin told US TV show Extra.
“I love doing the show with Tina Fey – she’s so funny — but, I’m thinking in a couple of years, maybe, I want to try something different for a while.”
Baldwin was then asked if he’d consider a career in politics. “I don’t know!” he responded. “It maybe rhymes with ‘wallatics’. I don’t know. I could go back to school again and finish my degree.
“I have an undergraduate degree. I want to get a graduate degree. I’m thinking about a lot of different things because what I’m doing now, it’s very time consuming.”
