AMANDA Peet is pregnant with her second child.

The 2012 actress and her husband David Benioff already have a two-year-old daughter Frances Penn and will welcome the next addition to their family in the middle of next year.

Amanda — who married screenwriter David three years ago — has previously admitted motherhood was not what she expected.

“One surprise of motherhood for me was how little control I have,” she said. “I thought it would be an extended, blissful romance with me at the helm, cuddling this little creature to life.

“It’s been bittersweet and humbling to let her lead, and to try not to be perfect myself.”

Shortly after Frances’ birth, Amanda, 37, revealed David wanted two more children but she was happy to stick with just having just one more.

“He wants three but I’m old, I’m an old lady. Two is enough,” said Amanda, who recently signed up to make a guest appearance on hit US comedy How I Met Your Mother.
