Mariah Carey: ‘Something Bad Happened to me When I Was 12′

MARIAH Carey admits she was a “tease” when she was younger — and has revealed “something bad” happened to her at the age of 12.
The Obsessed singer — who is married to actor Nick Cannon — says she hopes to write a book about her troubled past.
“Something happened to me when I was 12. A couple [of] things that were not so great,” she said. “One day I want to write a book about it.
“I always say I am eternally 12. I was a tease, that type of girl.
“Once I learned how to put my hair and make-up together, I was like, ‘I’m on a roll’.
“I have had very low self esteem my whole life.
“Trusting people is very difficult for me.”
