Long before I heard of Theron, I watched Townsend in "About Adam" with Kate Hudson, and he was terrific. He has been a fine actor in other films too; and he directed and wrote the screenplay for "Battle in Seattle," in which Theron, Woody Harrelson and an ensemble cast appeared.He was born in Howth, a lovely seaside town north of Dublin, Ireland, and is the son of former golfer Peter Townsend, who played on Great Britain's Ryder Cup team twice. Stuart Townsend has said about Theron: "I consider her my wife and she considers me her husband." That seems obvious; and they are a lovely couple that deserves much happiness in the future.
