Rihanna: ‘I Don’t Have Herpes’
RIHANNA has spoken out to set the record straight on claims she has herpes.
The Russian Roulette hitmaker has blasted rumors that ex-lover Chris Brown beat her in February because she has the STD.
“And it’s not true,” Rihanna told GQ magazine, adding that a facial flaw that has nothing to do with herpes fueled the speculation. “It’s a f***ing scar,” she said.
“On my lip. That’s there every day of my life.”
“It’s more ignorant,” Rihanna said of the gossip. “At first I was like, ‘Are you serious?’
“First I thought people were gonna definitely know that that’s not…
“But when I read it, and I see that people just buy into that…like, the minute they see it, it forms something in their head.”
Rihanna says she doesn’t want to be defined by the incident that left her battered and bruised.
“I don’t like talking about it a lot. But every time I do, it’s better; it’s easier each time,” she revealed.
