Nicole Kidman Has Powder On Her Face — Pictures!

NICOLE Kidman made an embarrassing gaffe at the New York premiere of her new movie Nine in New York Tuesday night — she hit the red carpet with white powder all over her face!

Nicole, 42, recently revealed that she hates having to leave Sunday Rose — the actress’ 17-month old daughter with husband Keith Urban — when she has to work.

“I’m at a place in my life when I just don’t want to leave her,” Kidman told the UK’s GMTV.

“I’m just crazy about her.

“I mean anytime a child is born it’s a miracle. So it’s like, ‘wow’, at this age — to be able to do it all again, it’s beautiful.”

Asked whether she enjoys going out with her daughter, she said, “I love to hike with my baby and do sports.

“We put the baby in the trolley and walk around the market and go to Target and do all the things that everybody does. People go, ‘You really do that?’, and you go, ‘Yeah, we really do it!’”

    I can’t believe how incredibly stupid people are. The photographer Jim Spellman who took every single one of these photos has now made a lot of money with the brainless media running it like prized photos. Look at Getty images and you’ll find none of the other photographers photos of Nicole show any kind of white powder. All this bull about the make up artist touching up Nicole’s face to explain away why some photos shows the powder and others don’t , is also a load of rubbish. I was watching the live stream and at no point is Nicole’s face tampered with while she was on the red carpet.

    I wonder if the media knows they’ve been duped.

    You are right vanshans….some of those photographers will do anything to get their photos used and I think they are so stupid as well. It’s strange that the same pose from other photographers don’t have this powder looking stuff on Nicole’s face. How cruel and desperate some people are just to make a few dollars.

    It might be the kind of flash. I recently bought some Makeup For Ever HD powder. It is white and adjusts to the pigment of the base. In a mirror – you cannot see it, but when I saw my picture on my camera – I had a look very similar to this picture – and it only showed up with flash.

    Nicole Kidman is a beautiful woman and if she had something on her face, she would not have gotten two steps before someone stopped her and fixed it. These photos are obvioulsy tampered with or it is the flash, in which case the photograper could have fixed it. I feel very badly for her and am not at all surprised that she loves the peace and normalcy of living in Nashville. I don’t understand why people won’t leave her alone or at least admit what a beautiful woman she is. As far as walking out on questions or subjects she doesn’t want to discuss, they are told before hand what is off limits, but do not listen. She should not be badgered, but should be treated with respect and asked about the film!

    Nicole will be just fine. Nicole rocks! Her inner beauty far outweighs her outer beauty. The real news is how Tiger Woods made everyone forget about Josh Duhamel cheating on Fergie. Fergie is definitely Oscar material. Fergie has many talents but lacks sense of worth. Josh Duhamel is arrogant and sexually promiscuous just like Tiger Woods. Fergie is in denial or just dim-witted. Now she wants to start a family with him? Who would consider bringing a child into a household when she knows her husband is a cheater? Fergie is sooooooooo talented but obviously she has low self-esteem. To bad Josh Duhamel doesn’t share her views about not cheating on your spouse. Future headline: “Josh Duhamel Gives Fergie a STD”.

    I bet it is the HD powder from Makeup Forever. I had the same thing happen on a job. Luckily I took a picture of my client with my little flash camera and the “ghost” appeared. I had the chance then to remove the powder.

    You do not see it in normal light but the powder does not react well to on-camera flash. It is a shame that the makeup artist and Nicole are being blamed when the company (Makeup Forever in my case) is the one who is probably to blame. They should test their products on this type of “red carpet” lighting.

    I dumped mine the next day and have never used another so called “HD powder” again.

    Maybe she changed her darling daughters diaper before she went out. These people are actors and actresses, it is their job. They are people. Stop glorifying them and let them live their life! They deserve privacy and happiness too!

    Thank God! I was horrified when I saw that powder on Nicole’s face. I am glad it was some silly gaffe or stupid photography screw-up.

    The people above who mentioned Makeup Forever HD powder are right. I’m a pro makeup artist and have had the chance to try out the powder and it looks just fine live but the titanium dioxide in it reacts to a camera flash creating that white powdery “blinding” glare. Don’t blame the photographer and suggesting he is duping people. She will have looked good live. It is definitely the makeup; though promoted as HD it definitely is NOT suited to HD situations. This is a case where her makeup artist was inexperienced or Makeup Forever offered to do her makeup for free, which is common for these red carpet events. Either way, shame on them for using products not suited for photography.
