Rachel McAdams Did ‘Bare Minimum’ in High School

RACHEL McAdams was not a fan of high school!
The actress admits she was a lazy student, often faked sickness, and did the “bare minimum” to get by in lessons.
“I would fake sick all the time to the point where I’d convince myself I was sick,” the Sherlock Holmes star tells Vogue‘s January issue. “In high school I really didn’t pay attention. I took the bare minimum to get by.”
McAdams says her perfect day would be “1995, on a sofa.”
“I grew up watching so much television,” she explains. “I was really into soap operas. I’d begin with Days of our Lives, then Another World, and finish off with General Hospital. And before dinner I’d watch Oprah.”
Rachel, 31, recently insisted her success his down to luck and hard graft.
“There’s a balance of some hand guiding you somewhere, and at the same time your own free will and taking the bull by the horns,” she said.
“I do think it’s a combination of the two that gets you wherever you are. And I think there’s a little bit of control, but not much!”
