Benicio Del Toro: ‘I’ve Always Been a Ladies Man’

BENICIO Del Toro says he has always been a ladies man.
The Wolfman actor, 42, claims he was a hit with girls in high school.
“I was a jock,” he says. “I had lots of friends in high school, you know, but I’m shy too. Acting is a great place to express yourself, so I got lucky.
“I found acting. And women. I’m sure I was unbearable as a young kid. Full of myself. But I did kind of get chased by girls at school too.”
Del Toro recently admitted he doesn’t have a good track record when it comes to relationships.
“I haven’t had a good track record in terms of my relationships because I’m into doing my own thing,” he said.
“I like having a lot of time to be by myself and read and be kind of in my own world. So that’s often not easy for women to accept and I can understand that.
“But I’ve learned to be more giving of myself in general over the last few years and it’s made things less complicated in some ways.”
