Brittany Murphy Planned Family With Simon Monjack

BRITTANY Murphy wanted to have a baby.
The actress — who died Sunday after an apparent cardiac arrest — told Access Hollywood at her last public appearance that she was keen to start a family with her director husband Simon Monjack, whom she wed in 2007.
“I’ve been very blessed to have a really great loving husband,” she said.
“I spend more time with my family than anyone else in the world.”
“As far as having a New Year’s resolution,” Murphy said of her plans for 2010, “I’d love to have a child next year,” she said. “But that’s kind of a large one!”
Meanwhile, the Clueless and 8 Mile star was looking forward to spending the New Year in Australia.
Murphy was to lend her voice to a sequel of Australian director George Miller‘s animated movie sensation Happy Feet. She had narrated the part of a baby penguin Gloria in the original Happy Feet, and the sequel intended to bring it to 3-D life.
Murphy had said she was “more than excited” about plans to fly to Sydney with actor Elijah Wood.
