Brittany Murphy Autopsy Completed

BRITTANY Murphy‘s autopsy has been completed by the L.A. County Coroner.
The results and the determination of Murphy’s cause of death, however, will be deferred, “pending the rest of the other tests including toxicology, neuropathology [brain analysis], and histiopathology [analysis of other organs],” LA County Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter told Us Weekly magazine.
Murphy, 32, was pronounced dead at 10:04 a.m. on Sunday at L.A. Cedars-Sinai Medical Center; she was rushed to the hospital from her Hollywood Hills home.
The actress reportedly died of cardiac arrest. Winter has said earlier that the death “appears to be natural.”
However, the 8 Mile star’s father, Angelo Bertolotti, said, “Brittany never had a heart problem before, so I don’t understand how she died.”
As previously reported, Murphy was “very ill” in the days leading up to her death.
