Janet Jackson to Make Christmas Special For MJ’s Kids
Posted by Adam
JANET Jackson is spending thousands of pounds to make Christmas special for her late brother Michael’s children.
The singer — who is the younger sister of the tragic King of Pop — has insisted on making Christmas Day a “fun” time for his daughter Paris, 12 and son Prince Michael I, 11, and seven-year-old Prince Michael II, also known as ‘Blanket’.
“It was to be a quiet, sombre holiday this year but Janet has stepped in to make it just like Michael did — fun,” a source said. “Michael loved Christmas. He was like a big kid and now Janet has taken that on. She must have spent thousands on trees, decorations and the kind of toys Michael would have love to be fooling around with on Christmas morning.”
The Beat It hitmaker died on June 25 from acute Propofol intoxication aged 50 and his family had initially planned to have a more low-key day.
“Christmas is especially significant for the family this year as the first with Michael and the fact Christmas Day is exactly six months since his death.”
Since losing their father, the trio have been looked after by Michael’s 79-year-old mother Katherine — who is their legal guardian — family members and nannies.
