Jessica Simpson ‘Warned Against Billy Corgan Romance’

Jessica SimpsonJESSICA Simpson‘s worried friends have warned the star against dating rocker Billy Corgan, it has been claimed.

According to the National Enquirer, Simpson’s nearest and dearest fear she is not in the right state of mind after falling into the arms of the troubled Smashing Pumpkins rocker.

“It’s been a long time since we’ve seen Jessica go this crazy over a man,” a source told the tabloid. “She’s attracted to his spirituality and wisdom and thinks he’s the most amazing person in every aspect.

“But Billy can be a dark guy. He admits he considered suicide in the past and has a long-running battle with depression. Not exactly the type of person you’d expect to be drawn to.

“Jessica’s so vulnerable emotionally right now. She’s scared of being alone.”

Simpson, 29, split from Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo in July last year.

    I THINK BY “TROUBLED” THEY ARE REFERRING TO THE SADNESS AND DEPRESSION THAT BC HAD EXPERIENCED DURING HIS TEENS AND EARLY ADULTHOOD THAT CAN BE HEARD IN HIS LYRICS AND MUSICAL STYLE. THESE FEELINGS WERE BROUGHT ABOUT BY BEING ABUSED DURING HIS CHILDHOOD. HURRAY FOR BILLY FOR WORKING THROUGH THESE ISSUES AND COMING OUT THE OTHER SIDE OF IT ALL ENLIGHTENED AND VICTORIOUS. HIS HONESTY MEANS A LOT TO PEOPLE THAT HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCES.

    The American girls are sluts comment was tongue in cheek. He has a dry, misunderstood sense of humor. Billy loves sluts. Otherwise, Kell is right. He still battles depression. It’s not something safely confined to his past. Not saying he deserves to be alone because of this, just that it might require a particularly strong, stable woman to handle him. Two boderline celebrities, both starving for the spotlight, might not be the best situation for either of them.

    And his womanizing is infamous. He’s not exactly a poster child for monogamy and devotion.

    Billy has more problems than listed here and by other members, but Jessica is no saint herself. Shes not what you would expect Billy to be attracted to, but maybe she is ignorant enough, or able to put aside his ‘past affairs’. He has a chance to show people he isnt a superficial ugly bastard. Or he’ll crash and burn every bridge around him … AGAIN … either way it’ll be REALLY funny to watch. Its amazing how many times Billy can show the world how much he doesnt care about anyone else and yet everyone still gives him a chance. Hopefully not too many people are hurt in this relationship.

    Being a musician, who was inspired by bands like Nirvana, & the Smashing Pumpkins, when I heard Billy was dating Jessica Simpson, I thought it was a joke. When you compare them musically, Billy’s a lot more talented. As for Billy, from what I hear, he can be arrogant sometimes. I don’t think he should be demonized for being depressed at certain points in his life. I’ve been through hard times to, & being depressed for a certain time period, is natural. If someone can’t understand that, then they’re lucky, or haven’t experienced life to the fullest. If these 2 make each other happy, then leave them be. Arrogance aside, Billy’s very open minded to other aspects of life. He’s also a talented musician, songwriter, & poet/lyricist. From what I know of his songs, he’s a romantic at heart. He’s human, so he’s not perfect, but he doesn’t deserve to be alone. Sometimes the right woman will settle a man down. As for the American girls quote, he’s only stating the truth. There are sluts, men, & woman, from all over the world. Pretending Americans can do know wrong, or thinking that they’re superior, is an arrogant way of thinking.
