SAM Worthington destroyed his tough guy image while filming new movie Avatar — after breaking his little finger, three times!

The Aussie actor says he burst into tears whenever he injured himself.

“Everyone on set to the mickey out of me because they made out I was such a tough guy and then I broke my pinky. Three times. The same damn finger,” said sexy Sam.

“It was all crooked. They all stopped when they realized I’d really hurt myself though.”

Worthington, 33, recently insisted he’d lose in a fight with his fellow Aussies Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman.

“I don’t think I could take on any of my fellow Aussies in an action movie,” he said. “Russell was in Cinderella Man so he knows what he is doing and knows how to handle himself.

“So he would be top of the bunch. I am a pussycat in comparison. I think I would suffer greatly.”
