GEORGE Clooney is “ready” to marry his Italian girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis.

The Hollywood hunk has been dating the sexy TV presenter for the past five months and is already keen to walk her down the aisle.

“He seems to be truly ready to walk down the aisle with Elisabetta,” a source told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper.

In December, it was reported that George is keen to make Elisabetta his wife because, unlike his other girlfriends, she has her own money.

“Elisabetta doesn’t need George’s money,” a source close to the couple told American tabloid the National Enquirer. “She does quite well by herself, and she’s not the type of woman to allow a man to pay for everything, so she insists on going Dutch.

“He loves that she’s her own woman.

“In fact, Eli said no when George wanted her to move to L.A. with him.

“She broke the news to George that she wants her own home. He offered to pay her rent — and she laughed.

“Eli is George’s match.”
