ALEXANDER Skarsgard has heaped praise on his Straw Dogs costar Kate Bosworth.

Although the Swedish actor has denied he and Bosworth are an item, Alex insists Kate is an “amazing” person.

“She’s amazing — Kate’s really amazing,” the 33-year-old hunk told US TV show Extra.

“It’s been a couple of tough weeks now, and she’s been pretty amazing, she really has.”

The pair first sparked rumors of a romance when they were spotted leaving the 2009 Scream Awards together in October.

The following month, Skarsgard and Bosworth were spotted out in Los Angeles, seeing Fantastic Mr. Fox together.
