Charlize Theron Wanted to Get Dirty!
CHARLIZE Theron was ready to get down and dirty for her role in recent movie The Road — but is glad that she didn’t have to!
The Oscar-winning South African actress had no problem with her male costars not washing as a way of getting into character for the post-apocalyptic drama.
“I didn’t have to not wash like the guys, not that I would have a problem with that,” said Theron. “It’s just that most of my scenes were flashbacks with me at home. I didn’t have any problems with the guys not washing though.
Theron recently revealed that she and her boyfriend, Stuart Townsend, are still “completely crazy” about each other.
“He’s a remarkable, warm and caring man,” said Charlize. “We’ve been able to make a great life for ourselves — and that can be pretty hard in this business.
“What holds us together is great love, great respect and great friendship.
“After nine years, we’re still completely crazy about each other.”
