Carrie Underwood to Make Acting Debut

CARRIE Underwood is set to appear on How I Met Your Mother.
The singer will mark her acting debut playing Tiffany, an enigmatic pharmaceutical sales rep and love interest for Ted (played by Josh Radnor), in an episode scheduled to air in March.
The CBS comedy series celebrates its 100th episode on Jan. 11, when Stacy Keibler will join the show as a guest. That milestone will also mark the beginning of a guest arch for Rachel Bilson, who may or may not be The One.
Underwood — who got engaged to hunky hockey player Mike Fisher in December — recently revealed that she hasn’t set a wedding date.
“Our schedules don’t provide us too much time to get married and have time to really enjoy being married,” she said. “We’re trying to really work it out and move some stuff around.”
Carrie said the Sunday night of her and Fisher’s engagement was “a busy evening,” of phone calls to beat the news reports. Carrie told Mike, “‘Keep calling baby, keep calling!’ Because I didn’t want anyone to get offended or anything that we didn’t tell them first.”
When it comes to planing the wedding, Mike “jumps in, and he always says he doesn’t,” Underwood revealed. “He’s like, ‘Oh, I don’t care. Just whatever you want!’…But then I go and ask him, ‘What do you think about this? and he’ll go ‘Oh, no,’ and he’ll weigh in. I think he’s going to be more involved than he initially thought he wanted to be, which is good. I need help.”
