Katy Perry Calls Russell Brand Her “Teammate”

KATY Perry says she’s found her “teammate” in fiance Russell Brand.
The British comedian proposed to Perry while the couple was on Holiday in India over Christmas.
And the I Kissed a Girl hitmaker is adamant she has found the man of her dreams.
“I’m excited to find a partner who can just be my teammate,” the singer tells the February issue of Glamour magazine.
“When I find a partner who is my teammate… I’m not going to play by any rules, I’m just going to go with my heart. Why wait? I just wrote a song [that goes], ‘They say it’s hard to meet your match, gotta find my other half so we can make a perfect shape.’”
Perry then revealed that she first met Brand when he was filming Get Him to the Greek.
“I did a cameo with him,” she says. “My scene called for me to make out with him. And on the way down the stairs after the scene, I was hopping like a bunny. I hop like a bunny when I’m happy — I get a bit childlike.”
Katy says Russell fits her ideals.
“There’s got to be respect,” she dished. “For me, that’s hard because it’s easy for me to steamroll guys. I need a man who tells me the party’s over, that it’s time to go home, because [we] have to work in the morning.”
