KATHERINE Heigl says she had to “really fight” to win over her husband Josh Kelley.

The 27 Dresses actress — who married the musician two years ago — recalled her first ever meeting with sexy Josh.

“I talk to Josh about this all the time,” she said. “The next day I waited until 3pm and then I went, ‘Screw it, I’m going to call him.’

“I invited him to a friend’s barbecue. He showed up, we had a great time and it was on from there.

“But he played it really cool. It was at least a couple of months before I was like: ‘Does this guy like me as much as I like him?’

“I had to really fight for him to like me as much as I liked him – but again, there’s a fine line between honest and desperate.”

Katherine and Josh recently adopted a Korean baby called Nancy Leigh.
