Miley Cyrus’ Hannah Montana to Wrap — Forever — in 2010!

Miley CyrusMILEY Cyrus‘ smash hit TV show, Hannah Montana, will wrap production forever in 2010.

The Disney Channel series — about average teen “Miley Stewart” who secretly moonlights as pop star Hannah Montana — begins shooting its fourth season Jan. 18.

The show still averages nearly 5 million viewers a week.

“You never know in this business . . . but right now we’re scheduled to wrap [forever] after shooting this new batch of episodes,” Disney Channel Worldwide’s Adam Bonnett, senior VP/programming, told the New York Post newspaper.

The fourth season will premiere “in late spring,” Bonnett says.

“The [new] episodes will continue to roll out at least over a full year,” he says.

The narrative framework for Season 4 will reflect the real-life struggle the actress is having leaving behind the character that made her famous, according to the Post.

In September 2008, Cyrus squashed rumors that she was trying to get fired from the show, insisting, “I am fully committed to Hannah Montana. It’s what gave me this amazing opportunity to reach out to so many people.”

    I feel so bad for this little girl. She should end her entertainment career NOW and go back to school. After school and during school at appropriate times she can do commercials, films, concerts. Her life will be full but she should go to school and start with 7th grade and forward that she has MISSED I believe she is younger than they admit. I also believe that she is not the daughter of Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus. I believe she is a little girl that was adopted. I feel bad for the life she fell into because to me it is not what she can handle, or really wants. I saw her Youtube videos and I see her interviews and I hear her comments. It breaks my heart. I had a boy during a C-section operation and I thought I saw a girl. A tall, beautiful female glowing pink and healthy baby lying on the table next to me and I wish that baby was Miley because if I ever found out that she was truly genetically my baby, I would make her life wonderful and make up for all these lousy years she has seemed to have by her own volition. I am a wonderful mother and my son has had a terrific, normal and well-nurtured life. I made sure he had the life that I never had. I was emotionally and physically abused during parts of my life and so because of that I grew to be an understanding and capable and happy mother who enjoys children and who wants to give them everything I did not get. I put my children first. My son has everything in the world that he ever wanted. He lacks for NOTHING. If Miley, but I would have called her Allison, was my daughter she would be very happy, as well.

      Um… I know you may not mean to seem this way, but you’re sounding like you’re disappointed with your son.
      People cant legally take your child from you without your consent, why would you think she was adopted? Any reason? I do think you are right about her not being able to handle her fame though, that much should be obvious to everyone. She doesn’t do anything with grace or class…it’s like she doesn’t have common sense. She’s saying she can’t help that children look up to her, and that she needs to live her own life. But regardless of how unhappy she is with it, she made the choice to star in a popular kid’s T.V. show, and if she’s going to enjoy the fame she needs to realize the responsibility that comes from being a role model for young children. DEAR MILEY, stop getting tattoos, taking naked pictures, pole dancing, and wearing innappropriate clothing. If you don’t think that’s fair, you shouldn’t have taken the job.
      Here really isn’t the place to talk about your abuse or mothering ability. I would definitely recommend some counseling though if you still have issues with your abuse.

      Miley Cyrus has been attending school via a private tutor and is in her high school senior year. She has shown she is a definite movie draw and she is selling an enourmous amount of music under her own name: Miley Cyrus. She has a huge future ahead of her and I wish her well.

    WOW! Really? Sweetie, you sound like you are one sandwich short of a basket case. Have you seen Miley’s siblings? They all resemble eachother. If Miley were adopted they would have had to adopt each and every one of their children…from the same couple. Miley looks a lot like her mother so I do not know where you get off saying this. It’s just wrong. She IS NOT your child and you obviously have one of your own to worry about so you should probably do that. Reading your comment was a bit uncomforting to me and if I were Tish or Billy Ray, I would be disturbed and worried about my daughter. You went so far as to mention what you would name her. Who looks over at their child right about giving birth to them and sees something they are not? I could not EVER say that I wish one of my children were someone else. You paint yourself to be a great mother but I think you should probably get yourself checked out.

    As for Miley, the girl will be just fine…then again…ya never know. She should probably just get out of Hollywood. That would be a good first step for her. She has more of a chance if she gets away from that lifestyle. I hope she’s not the next Lindsey or Paris or Britney. I’d like to see her do well for herself and not turn into a crazed person. She seems like a sweet, well adjusted girl. You can bring up all the things she has done as far as the dancing, the nose piercing and the tattoo but she’s not any different from the majority of teenagers in this country and I don’t understand why people expect her to be. If she is out of control, then so was I when I was a teen and I was far from out of control. Let her be young. There’s no need for her to grow up quickly. She will make mistakes and she needs to do that in order to grow. She is not here to parent your children, that’s your job and regardless of what you tell them what is right and what is wrong, they are going to experiment and they may or may not give into peer pressure. It’s part of growing up and learning by doing.

    Thank you, WOW! for making the observation that MichelleRN has issues with her child not coming out a girl. I fear for her son. Why don’t you just call him Allison anyway? There is a place in the entertainment world for children. I just don’t see anything wrong with it. As long as someone is properly managing her finances, she will be able to do whatever she wants with her life in the future. I wish I was so lucky. The show portrays a silly girl and silly girl antics–every little girl I know loves it. Miley Cyrus is an incredibly talented young woman. And I am an accountant with a tattoo and body piercings. That doesn’t make me a bad person, does it?

    Unfortuantely, too many of them are crashing and burning with their new found freedom and belief in their own publicity that they are the greatest thing since sliced bread; which they aren’t, they are just a part in the Hollywood wheel that made people money.
