REESE Witherspoon has counseling to get over Ryan Phillippe.
The Academy-Award winning actress said that her split with the Cruel Intentions actor Ryan left her embarrassed and isolated, but she had to stay focused for the couples’ two children Deacon and Ava Elizabeth.
“Through difficult times I have always found counselling helpful and I don’t think there is anything shameful in that,” she said.
The 33-year-old also suggested she needs her close friends around to support her.
“I have three women friends who will drop anything to help me and I will do the same for them,” said Reese. “I believe in those female bonds, because a lot of stuff happens with men and marriage and divorce, but family and friends are paramount.”
Despite her embarrassment at the divorce, she claims Ryan, 35, is a “great parent”.
“We balance our schedules so one of us is always with them,” she said. “When you care enough and are determined to make them the focus of your life, then somehow it works.”
