BLAKE Lively says fans shouldn’t get their hopes up for her sex scene in new movie The Town — because it’s anything but “steamy” and she spent most of it “pretty much crying”.

“I  have a sex scene in this film and that’s never comfortable,” said the Gossip Girl star of her role in the Ben Affleck-directed flick.

“You think, ‘Oh, that’s going to be so awkward’. But this scene isn’t supposed to be a steamy one — it’s sort of tragic… I’m pretty much crying in it.”

But Lively insists she had no problems getting back into her groove as Serena van der Woodsen in Gossip Girls following the film shoot.

“I can snap into Serena very easily,” she said. “The way I dress as Serena is pretty much the way I dress as me.

“I’m living in New York City, shooting in New York City. I’m in a comfort zone.”

Lively has previously revealed that she lobbied Affleck for her part in the movie.
