Rihanna: ‘Chris Brown Was Controlling’

RihannaRIHANNA claims she began to spot warning signs before she was attacked by Chris Brown.

The Russian Roulette singer was left battered and bruised by Brown — her then-boyfriend — last February when he assaulted her in his car and in hindsight she could see the situation developing.

“There were control issues, insecurity,” said the singer. “When people are insecure they become very controlling and they can get very aggressive and in turn abusive. It doesn’t have to be physical.

“Like they would say bad stuff to you to make you feel lesser than them just so they would have control in the relationship. It takes a big toll on your emotions and on your everyday life. It changes you.”

Rihanna also revealed she was emotionally drained when she recorded latest album Rated R due to the attack, subsequent break-up and intense attention.

“When I was making this album, every day I was in a different mood,” said the 21-year-old. “Sometimes I was p***ed off, sometimes I was miserable, and every song brings out a different story.

“It’s still hard to listen to certain songs. Certain ones I couldn’t even record — I’d keep pushing them back.

“When the label finally said we had 12 hours to turn in the album, I was like, Okay, I have to record the last song. I just drank some red wine, dimmed the lights, got in the booth and sang it.”

Chris, 20, was found guilty of the assault and ordered to carry out 80 hours of community labor, 12 months of domestic violence counselling and five years probation.

    Oh come on, she made a mistake, they say Love is Definetly Blind, she wanted to protect Chris Brown but by telling people what he did to her, I find she is very courageous speaking out against the man who attacked her, maybe it will send a warning to other young women out there in abusive relationships to leave their abusive men for good, she’s a role model after all and she’s warning other girls about how men act and so, she’s come a long way from what happened to her so give her a break.She’s picking her life back up and she should be left alone and not ridiculed besides, Chris Brown lied about everything, he should be the one who should be ridiculed and so, he denied even beating her up and said he’s a changed man but I definetly do not believe him at all, a leopard never changes his spots.

    She is a damn liar I believe she was the controlling one in the relationship she seem to think she is all of that and some guy should bow down to her. Do not get me wrong I do not cheer on guys hitting on women at all I just think there is always to sides to every story.

    I heard that Chris would take Ri anally several times per week and would make her lick his crank clean afterwards. Things started to go south when she stopped wanting to do that with him.
