JESSICA SIMPSON AND BILLY CORGAN TO GET WED?

Jessica SimpsonJESSICA Simpson has fallen hard and fast for her new boyfriend Billy Corgan.

And according to insiders, the singer/actress is so taken with the musician, she’s hoping to marry him.

“Jessica is so in love with Billy right now,” a source revealed. “She’s talked about marrying him and maybe starting a family.

“She turns 30 this year and is keen to settle down after a string of failed romances.”

Jessica — who was previously married to Nick Lachey and has dated singer John Mayer and American footballer Tony Romo — and Billy, 42, were first romantically linked in November 2009 after they both attended a Los Angeles party, though they have been friends for some time.

Recent reports claimed Simpson’s friends and family had warned her against a romance with Corgan.

“It’s been a long time since we’ve seen Jessica go this crazy over a man,” a source said earlier this month. “She’s attracted to his spirituality and wisdom and thinks he’s the most amazing person in every aspect.

“But Billy can be a dark guy. He admits he considered suicide in the past and has a long-running battle with depression. Not exactly the type of person you’d expect to be drawn to.

“Jessica’s so vulnerable emotionally right now. She’s scared of being alone.”

Case in point, other the pictures of them in the studio and that one time in December (in NY?), the two have never gone out together or are seen in public. I don’t see anything wrong with him wanting to help her out and he does like to help other artists.

What has the world come to when a deep, dark, brooding, talented songwriter and, ok, occasionally self-absorbed madman like Billy Corgan can actually stand to be around, much less “fall in love” with a no-talent bimbo like Jessica Simpson. She’s not even all that good-looking, plastic surgery has turned her into a caricature of cartoon-beauty.
    When I first saw the headline, I thought, “this must be a joke or some kind of elaborate hoax for publicity or something or just a freaky practical joke” but on and on I read and it was replete with all these oh-so-sentimental platitudes like “she’s vulnerable now, after her previous three relationships have gone sour…,” to “Corgan does have a darkside, though…he’s admitted to thinking about suicide and has been struggling with depression now for years…”
    Now what in the hell prompted these two people, who couldn’t be more unlike each other than, say, Lou Reed and Janet Jackson?
    Wow! If this idiocy pans out to be true, well, there goes any remaining respect I had for Corgan (and it’s obvious that nobody in their right mind would ever have any respect or admiration for someone who is only famous for being famous and who has never done one single creative venture – except getting a boob job, if that counts.
    Get away from her Billy – get FAR, FAR away as quickly as you can!!!

    Listen to the songs Hummer, Jellybelly, Tonight Tonight, Rhinoceros, Glass And The Ghost Children, Stand Inside Your Love, Perfect, The Tale Of Dusty and Pistol Pete, Tarantula, United States, ect. Their best album to start with is Siamese Dream.

    But um that’s not what I’m here for. Billy Corgan once said he didn’t want to do anything embarassing like work with Timbalind, Chris Cornell is doing that, But he’s also awesome, he’s a great songwriter/collaboratar, just like Billy.

    If Billy can change his musical style with the album Adore, (which is accually my favorite Pumpkin’s album, and my 2nd favorite album of all time), then how do you expect the music he will make with Jessica Simpson is going to be horrible right off that bat? No, that’s not Billy. Billy would always make a kickass song for everyone. None of you probabley have listened to the Pumpkins, that’s why I put up a list of songs there.

    Oh yeah … Billy Corgan can DO WHATEVER THE HELL HE WANTS. And so can Jessica. I’m preety sure she’s a big fan of the Pumpkins. She’s about the right age to be if she was a fangirl of the Pumpkins in the 90′s.
