DENNIS Hopper has filed for divorce from his wife, Victoria, Los Angeles court records show.

The 73-year-old actor — who’s battling cancer — cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. He’s seeking to provide spousal support for Victoria. The division of their property is yet to be determined, according to People magazine.

The couple — who have been married for nearly 14 years — have one daughter together, Galen, 6. The Easy Rider, Apocalypse Now, Blue Velvet and Hoosiers star is requesting joint legal and physical custody of the child.

Hopper lists this past Tuesday as the date of separation.

Recent reports claimed Hopper is close to death after his cancer spread to his bones.

“Dennis has come to grips with the fact that the end is likely near,” a source said earlier this month.

“He knew going into the last weeks of filming Crash that he was on borrowed time. His doctors had told him they were no longer able to contain the disease, and his condition had severely worsened.

“Dennis missed three days on the set due to dehydration, but then he came back, got back on his mark and faced the camera. Really, it was some of the best acting he’s ever done.”
