AMY Adams says she wanted a baby two years ago — but her career got in the way.
The actress — who is expecting her first child with fiance Darren Le Gallo — admits she has wanted to start a family for quite some time.
“Two years ago my fiancé and I sat down and agreed it was time to start a family,” said Adams.
“Then I went off and did two more jobs. He’s been very patient.”
Adams recently revealed that making the 2007 Disney flick Enchanted ruined her idea of a “big white wedding”.
“After making Disney’s Enchanted, the idea of being in a big white wedding dress is not as exciting as one would think!” she said.
“I have a feeling that, one day, we’ll just wake up and decide to get married and just go off and do it.”
