Dennis Hopper: ‘Leave me Alone’

DENNIS Hopper is surrounding himself with his children and “close friends” as he reaches his final days.
The 73-year-old actor — who’s battling cancer — recently filed for divorce from his wife of 13 years, Victoria.
Court records show Hopper has begun proceedings to end the union, citing irreconcilable differences.
And as he gears up for a legal battle, Hopper reveals he only “wants peace and quiet”.
“I wish Victoria the best, but only want to spend these difficult days surrounded by my children and close friends,” he told the BBC.
Recent reports claimed Dennis wants to divorce Victoria so she can’t get hold of his money.
“It’s truly a tragedy, and sadly it’s all about the money and who inherits what,” a source said of Hopper’s plans to end his marriage. “This is about getting Victoria out of the will, nothing more, nothing less.”
Hopper has three grown children — Marin, Henry and Ruthiana — although he reportedly has not spoken with Ruthiana in recent years.
