ZAC Efron doesn’t like letting people down.

The High School Musical star — who’s currently dating actress Vanessa Hudgens — says he never forgets his friends when it comes to promises he’s made but if he has pledged to do something for himself he always forgets.

“One of the reasons I don’t make resolutions is purely because I know I won’t stick to them,” said Zac. “Instead I make about 15 resolutions as I go and try to stick to them.

“That is working much better for me this year. I can keep promises to other people — just not to myself.”

Efron, 22, recently revealed that he struggles to cope with life in Los Angeles.

“Living in Los Angeles is tough,” Efron told Britain’s Glamour magazine in December. “Normality is so skewed and it’s not something your friends and family can relate to, nor is it even fun to talk about.

“I love the outdoors — there’s something about when there’s no one around that I’m drawn to.”
