NATALIE Portman admits she — like all the actresses other she knows — is messy.

The svelte screen siren says she finds it difficult to live up to her reputation as glamorous Hollywood star because she just wants to slob out at home.

“Every actress I know is the messiest, grubbiest person,” Portman told Stylist magazine.

“It can make you feel very ugly at home, too, when you are always all made up then you wake up in the morning and your hair is disgusting and your face is disgusting.”

Portman, 28, recently revealed that she’d like to start a family at some point in her life.

Natalie — who can currently be seen starring opposite Jake Gyllenhaal in new movie Brothers — said she “hopes” to become a mom one day in the future.

“The mom comes out very easily in me, though,” said the star, who plays a mother in the movie. “I have a very maternal mom of my own.

“She’s a very cosy, nurturing type, and she is the most close-up model for that kind of behavior that I’ve had.

“I’ve not been a real mum, of course, but that remains something I hope for one day.”
