GEORGE Clooney wants to invent a new range of “special” underwear.

The Up In the Air star says he and his showbiz peers are concerned about new airport scanners which can see through a passenger’s clothing right down to the bare skin.

“It is a concern,” said George. “I have nothing to hide of course but nobody likes to be taken advantage of.

“I think there could really be a market for some special underwear to protect us all from that kind of exposure because it is a little disconcerting.”

Meanwhile, insiders says George, 48, has agreed to have children with his Italian girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis.

“George has done a complete 180 on starting a family,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“He’s still not a huge fan of the institution of marriage, but Elisabetta has made him rethink having children and settling down.

“They’re both incredibly happy and I certainly could see them having a baby in the next year.

“Elisabetta is crazy about George and wanted to make that clear to him.

“So when he asked what she wanted for Christmas, she said, ‘Your baby!’

“She was dead serious. And while George was a little startled, it made him think about how ready he is to be a dad and what a perfect mother Elisabetta would be.

“And that’s when he told her to be careful what she wished for.”
