Sporting his trademark spiky hair, nail varnish and jewelery, the American Idol runner-up, 27, hit the red carpet in a sexy black suit.

Lambert recently revealed that he’s been getting advice from Madonna on how to deal with fame.

Adam said he met the Holiday hitmaker “for five minutes” at her New York apartment and the pair spoke about the pressures of life in the public eye.

“It was wild, I’ve looked up to her as a popstar… She came in with no make-up, yoga wear, totally Zen and her presence is very powerful, very intense,” Lambert said during his appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show this past Tuesday.

“The first thing I said was, ‘Oh my God!’. I said, ‘I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I’m just really intimidated right now’. And she said, ‘Why?’

“‘Because I love you!’ And she said, ‘So love equals intimidation for you?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, pretty much. Most of the time, I think, when I feel love, that’s the way it manifests itself at first’.

“I talked to her about celebrity and how to deal with it all. [She said], ‘Just keep your eye on the prize and put your blinders up. Don’t get sidetracked with all the extra fuss’.”

    Adam just came from a photo shoot for ‘Flaunt’, then straight to the SAG Awards. This very talented, intrepidly honest, personable,well-spoken singer is a good-hearted, good-natured guy, so I don’t mind all the attention he is getting, In fact, I’m a fan. I only watched AI last season to see his performances, and I attended my first AI Tour, just to see him.I just love this entertainer very much.

Even though this is a new season for idol, we will never see another Adam…

    I really do like Adam but wish he’d lighten up the eyeliner – its harsh and way overdone. he is a graceful talented man and he doesn’t need to rely on gimmicks so much. It makes him a cliche. The last thing he wants is to be Boy George. If you are a serious person, then act like a serious person.
