ASHLEY JUDD APPRECIATES HER HUSBAND

Posted by Adam

Ashley Judd ASHLEY Judd always makes time to appreciate her husband.

“The point is, we’re always so quick to say, ‘That hurt my feelings,’ so how about being as quick to say, ‘I really appreciated it when you turned the TV down so we could hear each other,’ the actress, who’s married to racing driver Dario Franchitti, told the new issue of Redbook magazine. “Dario and I do an appreciation every day.

“It was a suggestion from a friend who does it with his wife. Sometimes it’s [she mimics gritting her teeth in annoyance and spits out], ‘I really appreciate…’ But that’s the point of the exercise — even when one is cross, to get some gratitude on board.

“We’ve been together 10 and a half years. We have our eighth anniversary in three weeks.”

Judd, 41, stars opposite Dwayne Johnson and Julie Andrews in new movie Tooth Fairy, which hit theaters this weekend.

The screen siren says she decided to accept her role in the children’s flick after being told by her agent it would be a “really fun” experience. And absolutely nothing to do with getting a paycheck!

“My agent sent me this script and she said, ‘I have a feeling that this would be a really fun experience for you’,” Judd recalled. “Dwayne Johnson is adorable and funny, and I had the unexpected pleasure of getting to have Destiny Whitlock in my life, the little girl who plays my daughter.”

This is good news for your fans as it’s been a dry spell since your last movie. Maybe you’ve been busy being a race fan and I can’t blame you there. I have this awful feeling Dario is finished with Nascar. Too bad.

I have a deeper respect for Ashley Judd after reading this. It is the deepest thing in life we can do: building and maintaining relationships. After all is said and lived, and we have died people only talk about how we made them feel, and how they loved. – Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories

I don’t like how the article was written. It made her appear as if her agent has to suggest to her the ‘no money….it would be fun idea’. Her actions have showed that she has a heart toward children. I 100% support these movies that don’t have filth in them. I am sick to death of watching someone make out on the screen. I find it boring. I want to shout out,….”ok…yeah..yeah we all know how to make out….get on with the story!!!”

I am still patiently waiting for my turn to poke her.

This is rare in the times we now live, and it’s so heartwarming whe you hear of folks sticking it out , doing their best to make a mariage work. Thank you very much Mr. & Mrs. Franchitti for the encouragement. It would be great if some of what you all have could spread on my marriage, and infact around the world!

    Thanks again,

    Frank

Ashley is luckey to have such a good husband, the highlight of him winning the rain-shortened Indy 500 was her in a wet t-shirt.

Thanks for all of Ms. Judd’s work on behalf of animal rights and women’s rights too. As for the comment about Dario Franchitti being “finished” in NASCAR, yes he has left NASCAR and was the 2009 IRL (open wheel racing) Champion!!
And, he’s racing at the 24-Hours of Daytona this weekend. He’s a fabulous racer!
