ROBERT Pattinson has the X Factor!

According to British tabloid reports, the hunky Twilight actor has been offered a record deal — by music mogul Simon Cowell!!

Cowell, 50, apparently told Pattinson — who laid down some tracks for the Twilight soundtrack — that he can have as much money as he wants if he agrees to release an album on his Syco record label.

“Robert is reluctant to be turned into a pop star — and takes his music very seriously,” said a source close to the hunky actor. “He is a bit wary of signing up with Cowell who is, of course, associated with X Factor and pop.”

Rob, 23, has previously spoken of his desire to release an album.

“I write songs, that’s true,” he told Paris Match magazine in an interview last year. “I’ll record a few tracks as soon as I finish the promotion for the movies, but before I won’t to do anything. I don’t want to release an album which has a sticker on it saying, ‘By the vampire of Twilight,’ on it.

“If the record is released one day there won’t be my name or my picture on the cover. Everyone would be biased. No one would listen to it.

“Before I was famous I would have loved to perform in bars and pubs. But this isn’t possible anymore.”
