Robert Pattinson Destroyed Pierce Brosnan’s Ego!

Pierce BrosnanPIERCE Brosnan had to leave his ego at the door when it came to filming a movie with Robert Pattinson.

The former James Bond star realized he was no longer popular with the ladies when was completely ignored by all the female fans surrounding the set of Remember Me in favor of the Twilight hunk.

“I have no remaining ego whatsoever after shooting Remember Me with Robert last year,” says Brosnan. “His trailer was down one end of the avenue, surrounded by girls, and mine was a very quiet little haven of solitude at the other end.

“Even when we were shooting in the heart of New York, I could actually hear when Rob left his trailer; the girls would be going so bonkers!”

Brosnan also revealed that he has never watched Daniel Craig as 007.

“I haven’t seen Daniel in the role. I tried watching it on an airplane,” he says. “I thought 37,000 feet was a good distance to watch it from and it broke down right at the beginning. The attendant came and changed it and it broke down a second time, so I figured ‘OK. The Gods must be saying something . . .’ ]

“So I never went near it! I just thought, ‘let sleeping dogs lie.’ I got the Academy screener for the last one and I turned it on for my boys and I left them to it. I didn’t go near it.”

    Pierce, you don’t have any competition when it comes to looks and acting ability. You’re a very handsome man who exudes charm and you can stand on your own without any hype to help you along, Mr. James Bond.Rob is new to the game and is just a young guy-kid that all the little girls and some of their mothers{ who are young, too]are ga ga about for the time being.His popularity is mostly hype driven with false articles and sexy pictures which thrust him into the public eye.If it weren’t for all the hype that went along with the Twilight schmaltz, he’d still be an unknown and has said so himself in so many words. Thats why he’s so intiminated right now making other movies because he realizes he has to prove himself. I doubt if you would want your face plastered all over Teen Beat magazine. Thats where he’s at right now. To me, it’s sickening to read all the gossip about him signing a record deal and protecting his “art’ with his voice. It makes me laugh, because we really haven’t heard too much of his voice, saw a little bit of him playing the piano, but that was hyped up, too and have never seen him actually play the guitar. Those two songs he sang in Twilight didn’t do anything for me at all. He does not annunciate his words so I can’t understand what he’s saying, he mumbles.I know you really not worried about your ego and it was only in jest. The test is coming for him now.
