DENNIS Hopper’s wife claims the cancer-stricken actor is being forced into getting a divorce.

Victoria Hopper is adamant the ailing star — who recently filed divorce papers — doesn’t want to end their marriage — but is being told to do so by his advisers and older children.

“Over the past few weeks [Hopper] has stated to me that he has been ‘pressured’ by his advisers and adult children from other relationships to file for dissolution of our marriage,” documents in their divorce battle state.

“[He] has told me that he does not want to divorce. [He] has told me that other people are insisting that he takes care of them upon his death.

“I believe that he is more often than not incapable of handling his legal and financial affairs.

“His adult children are attending his legal appointments and have told me they ‘read everything’.’
