EVA Longoria has turned into her Desperate Housewives character!

The actress — who plays the feisty Gabrielle Solis in the hit US TV show — says now her onscreen alter-ego has become more domesticated she has more in common with her.

And now Longoria — who’s married to sportsman Tony Parker — wants to follow in Gaby’s footsteps and start a family of her own.

“I have way more in common with Gabrielle now than I used to because before she didn’t want kids, she was having an affair, she didn’t cook, she had all of this stuff that was the opposite of me,” said Eva.

“I am extremely domestic, I love to cook, I can’t wait to have kids. Really can’t wait. There was all of this exact opposite stuff going on but now that she has kids she is a little more compassionate and there is a little side of her that I can relate a lot more to.”

Eva, 34, recently revealed her relationship with 27-year-old Tony works because they are friends as well as lovers.

“We are just best friends,” she said. “I love his company and I am married to the person I want to be with.

“I cannot ask for more. We respect each other as people and as a couple, and we trust each other. The best thing is that he loves to surprise me and I love to be surprised.

“Our relationship is more solid than ever and we have so much fun together. Tony and I would love to be together forever. But the only way you get to forever is one day at a time.”
