Gabourey Sidibe: ‘George Clooney is Amazing’

GABOUREY Sidibe says she’s been left largely unimpressed by the majority of Hollywood stars she’s met over the past few weeks — except George Clooney!
The busty actress — who stars alongside Mariah Carey in the 2009 film Precious – says she was in awe of the Up In The Air star.
“I have found that most people I have met are much shorter than you would imagine,” explains Gabourey.
“In fact most people seem really, really short – apart from George Clooney. I met him and he was amazing. “He is lovely and has a few inches on me which was quite a surprise.”
Sidibe, 26, also revealed that she felt “inspired” working alongside Mariah.
“I’ve bought Mariah’s albums and I saw her live recently,” she said. “I’ve been inspired by various people such as Mo’Nique, Mariah and Mary J. Blige.”
Gabourey then insisted she isn’t worried about her frame being a disadvantage in Hollywood.
“I love the way I look,” she said. “I’m never going to be a size two. I’m just not structured in that way. I am not worried about Hollywood trying to change me. They haven’t changed yet — for now people seem to like me as I am.”
