Kristin Chenoweth Wants to Adopt an Orphan From Haiti

The Glee actress, 41, has vowed to take in a child affected by the Haitian earthquake and she hopes by doing so she may encourage other people to do the same.

“I am thinking about it. And I am praying about it,” she said. “It’s a huge decision. I have not been able to turn off the TV and have been very moved by what I have seen so I think that could be a real possibility for my life.

“I am adopted myself so I am going to go there and help raise the profile of the cause just as it starts to fade. I have just got to plan my schedule.”

    I would love to adopt also. I was actually online trying to see how it would possible.I think its a great idea and god will bless you in the long run.

    Good for Kristin. She is real. Not like these middle aged wealthy actresses (and Mr. Vanity himself, Ricky Martin) who have to have their own bio children when there are so many abandoned or orphaned lovely children going in and out of foster homes.
    Some use someone else’s eggs. Some use another’s eggs and a surrogate to carry too (Sarah Jessica). What a blessing they could give by adopting an innocent needy child.
