JAMIE Foxx wants to be the next American Idol judge — but he doesn’t have the time!

The actor says he’d love to fill the void left by Simon Cowell, who recently announced his plans to quit the show at the end of the current series, but his schedule is just too full!

“I would love to do it, but I don’t think I would be able to do it,” Foxx told E! News.

“I don’t think I could fill Simon’s shoes, but I would give it another perspective…what I want is for the kids to go from being contest participants to artists, and that’s where I would come in.”
