Janet Jackson Waits For Michael to Call

Posted by Adam

Janet JacksonJANET Jackson admits she’s still not over the June (2009) death of her brother, pop superstar Michael Jackson.

The Got ‘Til It’s Gone hitmaker says she still looks at her phone and waits for Michael to call.

“It gets sad sometimes because — I don’t know — you think your phone is going to ring and you hear that voice calling your name,” Janet told Wonderland Magazine.

“But, yeah, life does go on and everybody grieves differently.

“And every day is different. Some days it’s much easier than others.”

Janet, 43, then went on to defend her parents following decades of accusations aimed at her father Joe for being a tyrant with the famous siblings.

“My parents raised us in a wonderful way,” she insisted. “It had its pros and cons at points but I think they did a wonderful job with us.”

My youngest brother died (snowmobile accident) at age 14. February 1, 1986 and my oldest brother in February 1, 2007. It’s been hard but life went on. I am not a famous person but I do know that feeling when you think you are going to get a call or a visit from them. I am with you. You are loved and your family are loved. Go on being who you are. Your brother, Michael, wouldn’t want you to change a thing. I know he is at peace. With much respect and condolences.

    A friend in spirit

I wish I am able to sit down with you and tell you what I feel about the way your father, Joe, raised all of you. My words are positive. Life was different for our parents back then than it is now. People don’t see it that way. All people and the media care about is bringing on negatives aspect of other people life. If I was to believe everything negative that had been said about the Jacksons Family, I would be rotting in hell right now. People need to go back to school and read history all over again and see how life change and became better in many ways and how we all survive the bad things. Oh God, I could talk forever and put every negative thing and make it positive. If I was ever to see your father, Joe, in person. I would bow down to him and to your mom, Katherine. They are Queen and King of Music in my eyes. God Bless
