Brooke Mueller “Doing Great” in Rehab

Charlie SheenBROOKE Mueller is “starting to heal herself” in rehab.

Charlie Sheen’s wife — who was admitted to the Two Dreams Outer Banks treatment center in North Carolina last week for alleged problems with substance abuse — is progressing well and feeling much “stronger” in herself after receiving treatment, massages and participating in tennis matches.

“Brooke is doing great,” said Brooke’s father, Jon Fiore. “She is getting massages daily at Two Dreams and even played tennis with her mother while she was visiting.

“She is starting to heal herself. She is feeling so much better, so much stronger.”

Brooke has had a turbulent few weeks, after the Two and a Half Men actor was arrested over domestic violence charges against her on Christmas Day.

Following the incident, the real estate investor took out a restraining order against Charlie — with who she has 10-month-old twins, Bob and Max.

Last month, she was admitted to hospital for treatment on a wisdom tooth, but was kept in after she developed pneumonia.

Following her release last Monday, the 29-year-old beauty was taken to the rehab center — which treats people for alcohol and drug addiction.

However, her father has denied reports Brooke has been struggling with addiction and claims she is simply worn out from her eventful personal life.

“She is just there to heal herself from all the stress,” he said. “There really wasn’t any kind of drugs involved. Her body was in turmoil and she had a lot of stress, so she went there to rest and get away from everything.”

Brooke and Charlie — who is looking after their babies while his wife is being treated — are due to meet in court on February 8 for a review of the restraining order.

According to her dad, Brooke is keen to leave the rehabilitation center as soon as possible so she can be reunited with her kids and attend the hearing.

“She misses the kids terribly,” he said. “We expect her to leave in a week. Everything is on schedule for the hearing.”
