Zac Efron, Shia LaBeouf ‘In Bitter Feud’
ZAC Efron is locked in a bitter feud with Shia LaBeouf, it has been claimed.
According to a report in American tabloid the National Enquirer, the actors are at war over everything from “women to jealousy over their careers.”
The duo have allegedly been bad-mouthing each other since 2006 when they battled over the lead role in the sci-fi movie Jumper.
“Zac really wanted the role, and he felt that Shia sabotaged him with producers — calling him a ‘pretty boy’ and bragging that he was a better actor,” a source revealed.
Their rift grew deeper in 2007 when Steven Spielberg overlooked Zac when casting the coveted role of Indy’s son in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Spielberg went straight to Shia.
“Zac felt that was the part that would have turned him into an instant A-list movie star,” dished the mole.
Shia was apparently left reeling when Efron went to dinner with Megan Fox in July last year.
“Shia was envious beyond belief,” said the insider. “He’s had a crush on Megan since they made the first Transformers film in 2006,” said the insider.
“Shia felt that Zac was not only always horning in on his film roles, but that he was taking his dream woman as well.
“Shia would love to be a musical star who is a great athlete and dancer — and Zac would love to be an action star like Shia.”

Most people who know anything about one or the other of these young stars know they have had nothing but praise for the other one. I think they are both great actors in what they’ve done. I’ve enjoyed both of them.
