AMERICAN IDOL JUDGES AT WAR! SIMON COWELL DOESN’T WANT ELLEN DEGENERES ON PANEL!

Simon CowellTHINGS are off to a rocky start between Simon Cowell and new American Idol judge Ellen DeGeneres.

The pair — who have just started working together on the hit TV talent show — are already at each other’s throats, insiders say.

“Simon just couldn’t hide his dislike for Ellen,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“He sniped whenever he felt she deserved it and rolled his eyes. Ellen and Simon kept on bickering.

“On Ellen’s very first day working on the show, her excitement and nervousness quickly turned to anger because Simon was an hour and a half late for the taping. It was clear things were going to blow up between them, so they [producers] closed the set.

“Ellen’s new to the gig and she’s very organized and she made a commitment to take this on. She couldn’t believe it when Simon was so rude in turning up late!

“Simon has made it clear her doesn’t believe Ellen belongs at the judges’ table. She’s never been involved in the music business like the other Idol judges. Simon feels Ellen hasn’t paid her dues.

“One of the reasons Simon is leaving the the show is because he doesn’t to do Idol with Ellen.”

    I am totally with Simon. Ellen has no place on Idol at all, yet, she has moved in and is taking over. I am NOT looking forward to her debut next week, and I am so afraid Simon is going to quit before the season is over because of her. Fox, do the right thing; cut Ellen loose before the live shows begin. Her fans can see her on her talk show every weekday. She is a detriment to a show that is already losing its life blood when Simon leaves at the end of this season.

    Got nothing against Ellen in general, but I think she needs to back off. She’s the new kid, not Simon. People are not tuning in to see her. So he was a little late. He’s got A LOT more going on in his life business-wise than she does. Adjust to it. Get over yourself, Ellen.

    I love Ellen! Maybe they didn’t bring her to the show because of her music experience.. She is a very blunt and fair person and she could add some spice to the show… she is hillarious. Simon is leaving the empire that he built anyhow…. I say good riddance.. Why would he want to bring X Factor to the U.S. anyway?? To try and prove that the show is nothing without him??? It’s fine without Paula… I don’t even miss her. He is greedy and is trying to get praise for bringing down idol, if he does. Try and have Idol without Ryan Seacrest… that would really kill it.

    Is this post even real? I don’t really believe it. I can believe Simon is arrogant and could be late but I doubt that Ellen would take over. This was difficult to read with the typos.

    I like Ellen, as a comedian and talk show host. But unlike the other judges, all Ellen can do is dance for two minutes a day on her talk show. She has no musical background and needs to just leave. I’ll watch the begining of Hollywood week, but I’m not a fan anymore. I’m glad Simon’s gone. I hope Randy exits soon, too. And leaves Kara or Kyra… whatever her name is and Ellen alone. I can’t understand how they went from Paula Freakin’ Abdul… to Ellen? Might as well have hired Rachael Ray or Dr. Phil.

    I THINK ELLEN WOULD HAVE BEEN REALLY GOOD AT THE AUDITIONS BEFORE HOLLYWOOD. I HAVE VERY MIXED EMOTIONS ABOUT HER AS A BEING REGULAR JUDGE. I LOVE HER TALK SHOW JUST NOT SURE SHE WILL BE A GOOD JUDGE.

    I think they should bring on either Shania Twain or Victoria Beckham full time and cut Ellen loose. Both those women have been in the business and everyone gets on with them, I would personally love to see Shania full time, she’s incredible and was a great guest judge but so was V Xx

    I think that Ellen is going to be awesome. I think Simon was going to leave anyway….he made that perfectly clear when he talked about bring X Factor to the US and having Paula be a judge with him on that. Give her a break, guys! Nobody knows the answer to any of these questions until we watch Hollywood week! Let the games begin!

    First of all, this is old news and I’ve read several times in other sources that Simon was only 14 MINUTES late according to the shows producers. A delay of that amount of time is common in plain old middle America, let alone in traffic in L.A. Secondly, Ellen is the new element in the equasion. It is unwise of her to come in and make a row, even if she feels slighted. I’m not for or against her as a judge yet, but if she wants to throw fits at Simon, perhaps they should consider recalling Neal Patrick Harris. He did an excellent job during the preliminary auditions.

    I think American Idol had been going down the tubes for the last few years. They’ve also been picking the wrong winners, obviously. The losers are famous, hello? I stopped watching it when that new babe came on to compete with Paula. Very tense.

    Simon is leaving Idol to bring his own show X-Factor here so he gets more money. Idol will be on its own after he leaves. Paula will join Simon which is the way it is meant to be — Simon + Paula forever. This is what I think anyway. :)

    Good she needs to leave.. She asked for a whole new wardrobe too. What “she” needs a new wardrobe??? She sure ain’t in Paula’s league… That would be a waste of money (all those pant suits..eww) Please Ellen you only have power with your show. Thank God this is going to be over when Simon leaves. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out Ellen..I also note that your hair keeps getting shorter… And why in the hell do you do a make up commercial when it’s for the female side??? To beautify? Hilarious kathy AND SOOOOOOO TRUE!!!. ellen is no musical person she is not needed on the show, what does she have to offer a nice Jig? come on let’s get a judge with experience and maybe ellen would be better used on dancimg woth the stars?? the show will end whem simon leaves becuase no one will watch i stopped watching when paula left anyway, hope to see paula and simon ta team again on x-factor there is no hope for idol now
